This cheeky little monkey is 15 months now, almost 16 months old and definitely thinks he rules the roost! Since I last updated you, he is doing so much - he was only just starting to walk now he almost runs - although he sometimes still wonders what strange things (shoes) are on his feet, watches them whilst walking and trips over! Haha! His personality is really starting to shine through. He can say a few more words now: Mama, Dada, No, Oww, Oh, Yeah Yeah, Hiya. He has a habit recently of telling his Nanny 'NO!' everytime she asks him anything though!
He has six teeth now and some more are starting to come through - I truly realise just how quickly he is growing up when he flashes a toothy grin at me! He is really chatty pretty much all the time and loves nothing more than babbling away to a stranger, especially if they're giving him attention! Behaviour I should probably not encourage for the future! He will eat the majority of things put in front of him, but of course would much prefer to eat Mummy's food - even if it is the same!
His best friend is his Nanny & Grandad's labrador, Marley. He will follow Marley wherever he goes, tries to cuddle him all the time and generally fusses all over him when we go round. He loves posing for the camera (see above!) although isn't much a fan of the flash (who is? see below). He also loves our Ipad Mini - he likes looking at himself when using the camera and sometimes has chats with himself too! Mirrors give the same effect! He has progressed onto cows milk recently and seems to love it; handy because it is so much cheaper than formula!
He has also been trialling out a product for the blog - the MAM Perfect soother 12m+*. We are currently trying to wean him off his dummy in the day, especially now he has teeth, but he still has one at night. He does occasionally use a dummy throughout the day whether when napping or just a little tired and grumpy. However, being the tearaway that he is, dummies & soothers disappear never to be seen again. I have no idea where he hides them but I search high and low for them!
This one seems to be hanging around a lot longer than others do! Designed to reduce the risk of misaligned teeth, this soother has proved to be a very handy tool whilst weaning Jack off other soothers. BPA free and good for the skin thanks to large ventilation holes, this is perfect for Jack when he is a little grumpy. If given the choice of 2 dummies, he will always end up choosing this one - if he doesn't pick it out first time, he soon changes his mind!
I've always found branded soothers to far exceed the own brand ones you can find at various stores - much more care and attention seems to go into the quality and MAM are a brand we keep coming back to.
What is the one brand of baby product you keep returning to?
If you're not a mum, what is your failsafe product?
That top photo of Jack is a classic =D
ReplyDeleteWe so have to meet up with the boys when the weather gets warmer.
I do love MAM Hayden uses their bottles - haven't tried the dummy on him though. Will give it a try.
Great review hun
